New York, NY -- Indie film guru Kevin Smith is now hoping to make some greenbacks by directing the big screen version of The Green Hornet comic strip. No word on who will star as the hero or his trusty sidekick, Kato, or if Smith's own heroes, Jay and Silent Bob, will make cameo appearances. NEW YORK -- "Lost In Translation" star Scarlett Johansson now knows about the sweet smell of success. She's just been chosen to be the spokesmodel for a new Calvin Klein fragrance debuting this fall. ATLANTA -- "Touched By An Angel" star Della Reese should be touched by this news: She's going to receive the 2004 "Gospel Heritage Award" at a ceremony in Atlanta today (Feb. 19). NASHVILLE -- Johnny Cash's burning "Ring of Fire" won't be used in a hemorrhoid relief commercial after all. The country legend's family has nixed a plan hatched by a Florida advertising agency to promote Preparation H with the song. Cash's daughter, Roseanne, tells Nashville's "Tennessean" newspaper her family "would never allow the song to be demeaned like that."
