Eagle River, AK -- Folks don't need to haunt houses anymore to send messages from beyond the grave: A new website is designed to forward along personal e-mails to loved ones after they kick off. The website Finalpartings.com is designed to e-mail personal letters or secrets to friends and relatives that a user would otherwise take to their grave. A spokesman for the company says the service is supposed to prevent the possibility of writing down personal information on paper and having it discovered by the wrong person or before dying. The service works by printing a document which is kept with the user's will, instructing loved ones how to trigger the sending of the dead person's stored e-mails. The service costs $25 for a block of five messages, and additional messages can be purchased separately.
