Local custom dictates that when an old man regrows teeth, he must marry a dog to "avoid great misfortune." Sadly, the man died just a few days after his doggy nuptials.

NEW YORK -- Two Austrians climbed to victory in the 27th annual women's and men's race up the Empire State Building, where contestants climb the stairs to the top of the skyscraper. Twenty-four-year-old Andrea Mayr took 12 minutes and eight seconds to win the women's contest, while men's winner Rudolf Reitberger took just 10 minutes and 37 seconds. A 92-year-old Italian man reached the top in 43 minutes and 25 seconds.

Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants tracked the amont of wings eaten in their restaurants across the U.S. on Super Bowl Sunday and found the folks in Indianapolis polished off 110,000, followed by Houston's Super Bowl fans with 109,789. Third place went to Cincinnati with 84,539 wings.

MIAMI -- Eleven Cuban refugees who were trying to float from Havana to Florida in a converted 1959 Buick have reportedly been captured by the U.S. Coast guard. That's what an activist for Cuban exiles tells the "Miami Herald," although Coast Guard officials haven't confirmed whether they've intercepted the floating car.
