Pixies Reunite For U.S./European Tour

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- This musical news is rocking the alternative world: The Pixies are reuniting after an 11-year split.

The group's original members, including Frank Black and Kim Deal, are currently in Los Angeles rehearsing college rock classics like "Here Comes Your Man," and "Where's My Mind."

The group plans to launch an 11-city U.S. tour in April which ends with a headlining appearance at the Coachella Festival in Indio, California, May 1.

That's just the start of what appears to be a pixilated year for the pulled-together Pixies, who will tour Europe this summer and release a DVD retrospective as well as a greatest hits CD tentatively titled "Wave Of Mutilation."
