Uniondale, NY (WFN) -- Police on Long Island, New York, have arrested a perennial underwear thief who stole 2,284 packages of men's and women's undies, tube socks and t-shirts from the county jail where he worked. The alleged panty-raider claims he gave the undergarments to his friends and family, but police believe he sold the $13,704 worth of garments, "Newsday" reports.
