Sausalito, CA (WFN) -- If you're tapped out on cash, you can tap into your body fluids for extra dough.

The online New Canoe University has just launched a new course titled "Body Bucks: How to Sell Your Body to Science While You're Still Alive" for folks wanting to know how and where they can sell their "renewable resources."

The course is broken into four parts: What's Your Body Really Worth?; Bleeding for Bucks; Eggs and Sperm; and Be a Guinea Pig.

According to University Vice Chancellor Leland Harden, the human body is worth about $20,000 a year.

Harden acknowledges that selling organs can bring in a lot more, but the university doesn't advocate organ sales because it is illegal in the U.S.

The course costs $35 at newcanoeu.com, and as Harden points out, selling just one pint of blood will pay for the course fees.
