Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Rock star Beck is trying to find a new home for his pet bunny rabbit.

The off-kilter singer/songwriter says little "Rocket," who appears in the video for his tune "Lonesome Tears" on the DVD "Sea Change," has been growing restless in his home.

So, he's throwing a contest on his website to find the best new owner for Rocket, and wants fans to write him essays explaining why they should be allowed to take care of the Beck bunny.

After Feb. 3, Beck will review all the entries and pick the winner, then get an "escort" to manually transport Rocket to his new home and make sure the bunny is in good hands.

Due to the constraints on Rocket's traveling, the contest is only open to folks who live in the United States. Beck is also looking for a person who has owned pets before and can be vouched for by a veterinarian.
