London, England (WFN) -- A proposed TV talent show may do for aspiring actors what "American Idol" has done for wannabe singers.

The show, "Hollywood...Here I Come," is the brainchild of British TV producer Andrew Norton who is organizing star searches in England, Ireland, Australia, Canada and the United States.

Contestants will audition by reenacting scenes from famous movies and those with the most "star quality" will then compete weekly by making short films that will judged by top casting directors.

The top prize will be an all-expenses-paid year in Hollywood, California, complete with agent, acting coach and chauffeur, but Norton warns that the road to Oscar champ won't necessarily be smooth.

In his words, "We're just getting people to Hollywood so they can attempt to become a movie star. Whether they do or not is up to them."
