Everard Strong is just about to launch "Tall," a bi-monthly magazine targeted to men over 6 foot 2 and women over 5 foot 9. Its motto: "Because life may be short, but we aren't."

Strong created the magazine because he feels many tall folks think no one understands the unique problems caused by their height -- such as finding a car that has enough leg room.

He compares the magazine to a tall person's version of lifestyle mags like "Out" or "Ebony."

The first issue -- out next month -- contains fashion tips for beanpoles of both genders, an interview with 7 foot 2 James Bond villain Richard "Jaws" Kiel and a tribute to the tallest man who ever lived, Robert Wadlow -- who measured almost 9 feet high and died in 1940.

Meanwhile, the magazine's website tallmagazine.com offers personal ads to help readers find mates that match them in stature.
