Two-Thirds Of Americans Are Fearing The Flu

Roswell, GA (WFN) -- This year's flu bug has Americans running scared -- literally.

According to a poll by Kimberly-Clark, 66 percent of Americans are afraid of catching the flu this year.

But last year's SARS virus no longer seems to have folks sick with fear -- it barely registered on the survey, and there's not much worry over the Norwalk virus either.

There are other things that make people afraid of getting ill: Nearly 38 percent of Americans say sick co-workers are their pet peeve and 25 percent hate working with people who don't wash their hands after using the toilet.

Finally, 25 percent of Americans favor installing alarms in public toilets that ring whenever someone leaves without washing their hands.
