Cincinnati, OH (WFN) -- Next month, Cincinnati will host what is expected to be the biggest group of cornholers in America.

On February 20, the U.S. Bank Arena expects to have 1000 cornholers competing in the 1st Annual Cincinnati Cornhole Classic Tournament for a first place prize of $2000.

For those not in the know, "cornhole" is a game played with beanbags filled with corn, which are tossed through a piece of slanted wood with a hole cut in the center.

The game is comparable to horseshoes, with the exception that women and children love cornholing because the bags are light enough they can throw them, according to event organizer Kevin Olthaus.

He says the game is popular at tailgating parties and that "you can go to a tailgating without getting hit by a cornhole bag."

Olthaus expects the event to set a new Guinness Record for the largest cornholing.
