Yoko Ono: America's Newest Dance Diva

New York, NY -- Cher may be retiring from showbiz but Yoko Ono is willing to take her place.

In April, Ono made the top 40 charts for the first time ever as a solo artist with "Walking On Thin Ice," a new dance version of the song she released back in 1980 after the death of her hubby John Lennon.

Although other first-time chartbusters might run around in excitement, the 70-year-old Ono admits she's "not running around much at all these days. But my mind is running around."

So far, Ono has no plans to mount an extensive, diva-worthy tour behind her hit single, but she admits an appearance with Carson Daly on MTV's "Total Request Live" isn't out of the question.
