E.T. Could Decide 2004 Election (September 17)

Washington -- The 2004 U.S. presidential election could hinge on how the candidates react to the extraterrestrial issue.

Political activist Stephen Bassett is planning to force the candidates to discuss E.T.s by getting citizens who want to know the truth about UFOs to ask George W. Bush, Howard Dean, Richard Gephardt, Joe Lieberman or other candidates probing questions.

Bassett believes if enough people press the would-be presidents, the pundits on news networks will be forced to cover what he claims is a government cover-up of UFO activities.

The activist says "UFO disclosure" crosses all party lines and the E.T. issue is especially popular with "the 75 percent of the population that didn't vote in the 2000 election."

To that end, Bassett is inviting the presidential candidates to address the UFO community at the 1st Annual Exopolitics Expo, a three-day event being held in Washington, D.C. in April, 2004.
