Santa Needs A Personal Trainer

Los Angeles, CA -- A Los Angeles-based health practitioner has come up with a Santa Workout to get Ol' Saint Nick in shape for the big day.

Santa's work can be hell on his legs and back, but Majid Ali says leg strengthening exercises -- like front squats and step climbing -- can help by mimicking his climbing in and out of his sleigh.

St. Nick can strengthen his present-pitching wrist by taking a dowel with a weight dangling from an eight-inch rope and turning it until the rope is wound up.

Pere Noel can also do waist twists while holding his bag full of toys to strengthen his back.

Father Christmas can also benefit from a climbing wall, which will help strengthen his wrists, forearms and calves.

Finally, Ali recommends leg extensions for mall Santas who need to strengthen their knees for all the weight that kids will put on them.
