Senate Sgt. At Arms Against Kobe Bryant?

Los Angeles, CA -- A former police investigator in Los Angeles is jumping through hoops to prove Kobe Bryant has some racist critics in the United States Senate Sergeant At Arms office.

Retired L.A. cop Donald George runs welovekobe.com, a pro-Kobe message board, and he claims to have traced two racially-offensive e-mails from a computer belonging to the United States Senate's Sergeant At Arms office.

Both e-mails were sent Aug. 7 and one refers to the "12-inch Kobe love machine" and the other suggests the basketball star should get 20 years "and get raped in jail."

Officials for the Sgt. At Arms say there's no way of knowing if the shocking e-mails came from their office or if it was "spooked."

But George isn't buying it. He fears someone is using government equipment to send hate messages and is angry officials are "just trying to sweep it under the carpet."
