Krist Novoselic: 'Come Fly With Me'

Washington -- Ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic is singing a new tune these days: "Come Fly With Me."

The musician is also a private pilot and he's offering to fly a fan to his favorite restaurant for lunch in exchange for the highest bid in an online auction launching Sunday (Nov. 30).

So far, there's no opening price set on the flight, which is one of several celebrity-related lots in the so-called Auction for the American Way.

Other star-crossed items up for bidding include...

-- A pink mother-of-pearl pair of Elton John's prescription sunglasses, circa 1974.

-- Bette Midler's black Gucci loafers, signed in gold marker.

-- An alien cartoon doodled by Moby in crayon on white paper.

-- And a snowboard autographed by the members of Sum 41.

You can check out other auction items at www.pfaw.org/go/auction.
