New York, NY -- How was your summer? For songwriter Everett Bradley, it was filled with reindeer, snowflakes and other Christmas icons.

Bradley has worked with artists like Jon Bon Jovi and David Bowie but claims he spent this last summer working with Santa Claus on "Toy," his new Christmas album.

It wasn't easy. Bradley says he had to haul his equipment to the recording studio and put up Christmas lights before each session to set the mood.

Not only that but the songwriter says he had to "pull the other musicians into my world" even though it was 100 degrees outside.

Despite the difficulties of recording a Christmas album when it's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk, Bradley is happy how "Toy" came out because "it taught me to have the Christmas spirit year round."
