Game Designer: 'Pot Smokers Are Potential Customers, Not Criminals'

College Park, MD -- Two NASA engineers-turned-game designers are game to end the drug war as soon as possible -- and they're putting their money with their marijuana.

Andrew Looney and his wife, Kristin, are the creators of a card game called Fluxx, which is especially popular with families.

There's also another demographic: Stoners. Andrew says his company, LooneyLabs, gets hundreds of letters from potheads telling him "the game works great stoned."

Andrew says the stoners taught him an important business lesson: "Pot smokers are customers, not criminals." So he created a version of the game specifically designed for fans of "wacky tobacky."

Partial proceeds of that version will be donated to organizations trying to reform drug policy, but the Looneys also hope their efforts inspire other business owners to start catering to pot smokers.
