Las Vegas Man Hooked On Halloween -- With Real Hooks!

Las Vegas, NV -- A Las Vegas man is getting hooked on Halloween -- with real hooks.

It's no trick. He's a performance artist known as "Masochisto the Human Carcass" and his idea of a treat is to have hooks embedded in his chest, thighs and ankles.

But this Halloween, he plans to go further and let himself be hung horizontally 172 feet in the air from a bungee jump tower -- for a three-hour-stretch -- and stretch is the key word.

Masochisto says there's a good possibility his skin will stretch and tear during his three-hour skewer. Plus, he's in for a lot of pain because he "always uses fresh skin for a hooking" -- not spots where he's been previously punctured.

Impaling yourself on hooks may not be your idea of fun, but Masochisto plans to keep on doing it for one simple reason: "Because I can."
