Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria -- Students living in the dormitories at the American University in Bulgaria are raising a stink over a ping-pong table.

First-floor residents in the B wing of the Skaptopara I building are upset because of noisy conditions and a bad smell coming from ping-ponging students who are working up a sweat.

One ping-pong-hating senior even told school newspaper reporter Ana-Maria Raus, "It's not an appropriate place and it's very close to my room, and the shouting, playing late and the unpleasant smell are disturbing."

The school's sports director, Jason Nedelchev, says he placed the table there because it was being damaged in its original spot in the basement.

It's not clear whether the table will be moved due to the complaints.
