Philadelphia, PA -- Incoming freshmen at Temple University in Philadelphia have a new course that's required -- "Cosby 101."

That's because comedian Bill Cosby -- a former Temple student -- is planning to personally greet the school's 3,700 newest students and help explain the college process with a special performance tomorrow (Aug. 29).

The ceremony is being called the "first unofficial class at Temple" and students who attend will recieve an "I passed Cosby 101" t-shirt.

Although Cosby has traditionally spoken at Temple graduation ceremonies, University officials hope the "convocation" also becomes an annual event.
