Hastings, England -- Covens of witches around the world are comparing crystal balls and have determined the US government caused Thursday's massive power outage.

According to the High Priest of British White Witches, Kevin Carlyon, many intuitives claimed they were getting psychic premonitions that the power outage was coming days before it happened.

One spacey theory is that a flying saucer nearly crashed into earth, and to prevent a collision, the US government routed a massive amount of energy to the ship to help it break orbit.

Carlyon isn't so quick to believe the UFO theory. He says it's more likely the US government was storing up energy for some secret purpose.

One thing is for sure: Even if experts determine the loss of power was do to something simple like a faulty transformer, Carlyon still believes it's a government coverup.
