Self-Hypnosis Helps 'American Dreams' Remember To Forget

Los Angeles, CA -- Actors spend a lot of time memorizing things -- but some spend just as much time trying to forget.

That's how it's working for Jonathan Adams, who plays Henry Walker on the NBC series, "American Dreams."

Because the show takes place in the '60s, Adams has a good idea of what may happen to certain characters -- things that his own character shouldn't know, for the good of the drama.

As a result, Adams uses a self-hypnosis ritual where he reminds himself "not to remember stuff."

One thing Adams always remembers: September 30. That's the date "American Dreams" returns for its second season.
