San Diego, CA -- Someone's willing to pay a big bill for a G.I. Joe -- $600,000 or more. Later today (Jul. 18), the very first G.I. Joe doll ever made will be auctioned off at the San Diego Comic Con International and it's expected to set a new record price for toy memorabilia. The 12-inch doll is the original prototype made by G.I. Joe co-creator Don Levine and is considered to be the world's most valuable toy. As such, the starting price for the Joe doll is $600,000, not counting accessories like the original G.I. Joe scuba suit. That's expected to sell for $25,000, even though it's basically an old inner tube.
