Lincoln Look-Alikes To Tour President's Boyhood Home

Santa Claus, IN -- Four-score Abraham Lincoln impersonators will descend on Spencer County, Indiana, next month to visit the President's boyhood home -- honest.

The Lincoln look-alikes are members of the Association of Lincoln Presenters and will hold their 2003 convention in Spencer County.

Besides visiting Honest Abe's home in Lincoln City, they'll hold historical workshops and sleep in the town of Santa Claus, Indiana.

A few special additional accommodations were needed for the Lincolns: A spokeswoman for the Spencer County Visitors Bureau says they had to find facilities wide enough for the Mary Todd look-alikes to get their hoop skirts around.
