Washington -- Men are getting the short end of the stick on Valentine's Day this year. According to projections by the National Retail Foundation, the average guy plans to spend $125.96 on his Valentine but his gal pal will only shell out $38.22 on him.

DALLAS -- Americans aren't afraid to base global decisions on 1960s pop songs -- to a point. According to a poll by Match.com, 78 percent feel "what the world needs now is love, sweet love" but only 15 percent say "all you need is love."

NEW YORK -- The workplace might be the best place to find a last-minute Valentine. A survey by HotJobs reveals that 70 percent of Americans have either dated or would consider dating a co-worker.
