Has Matt Damon Left Ben Affleck For His Brother?

Los Angeles, CA -- It looks like Matt Damon has strayed from his longtime writing partner Ben Affleck and teamed up with Affleck's younger brother Casey.

While this may or may not start more Affleck/Damon gay rumors, Casey and Matt are starring in "Gerry," a film they wrote together about two hikers that get lost in the desert.

Matt tells "Back Stage West" the reason he isn't working with the future Mr. J.Lo is because "There hasn't been a time when Ben and I have both been in the same place for five years."

According to the actor/writer, he misses the time before he and Ben were so busy and says they were so prolific back then because he and Ben, quote, "were just living in the same house and didn't have anything to do."

"Gerry" hits theaters this Friday (Feb. 12) -- incidentally, the same day Ben opens in his big budget superhero thriller "Daredevil."
