Celebrities More Prone To Plastic Surgery Mishaps?

Beverly Hills, CA -- Are celebrities more prone to plastic surgery mishaps?

Take one look at Michael Jackson and you'd say 'yes,' but a Beverly Hills-based "plastic surgeon to the stars" says it's more complicated than that.

According to Dr. Robert Kotler, it's hard to tell whether Hollywood has a higher percentage of bad cosmetic jobs than Main Street USA because good nose jobs and facelifts can't be detected.

However, he says some doctors are more likely to go too far on a celebrity's surgery because they get star struck.

Dr. Kotler recently rejected a male star who wanted a facelift which was too risky given his health history, but the doc says there are other surgeons who would easily cave to his request.

He shares other inside scoop on cosmetic surgery in his upcoming book, "Secrets of a Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgeon" (Ernest Mitchell Publishers).
