New York, NY -- "Die Another Day" star Halle Berry has a face to die for, according to plastic surgeons.

The members of the American Academy of Facial, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery say Berry has the "modern-day ideal face of beauty," especially her "delicate, yet defined facial skeleton."

Berry beat Catherine Zeta-Jones, Elizabeth Hurley and Nicole Kidman for the honor but lost out to Audrey Hepburn, who was selected "most timeless beauty" by the docs.

Meanwhile, George Clooney's mug is considered the "male modern-day ideal face of beauty" because of his strong jaw and straight nose but Cary Grant is the all-time hunk because of his broad forehead.
