Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Comic legend Eric Idle may have discovered the secret to success: being a greedy bastard.

Idle has just wrapped up an 80-day comedy tour of the U.S. which he lovingly calls his "Greedy Bastard Tour," in which he performed Monty Python skits and songs like "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life."

He says this tour was different than his last American jaunt, "Eric Idle Exploits Monty Python," because he's learned to cut corners.

In his words, "Last time, I had 22 people with me. Now, that I'm a greedy bastard, it's practically me and a tambourine."
