Ruskin, FL (WFN) -- A Florida man who's known for his elaborate Christmas displays is refusing to put any lights up this year because of a spat with his next door neighbor. The "St. Petersburg Times" reports Don Bourdon kept his usual display of 70,000 lights under wraps and instead posted a sign on his front lawn which reads, "There will be no Christmas decorations this year due to the Scrooge at 6510 Abaco Dr." He's hoping to use the threat to sway residents to his side in the argument with his neighbor over a boat lift he wants to install in his backyard dock. VIENNA, Va. -- Candy canes really suck -- and that's a good thing according to most kids. A new survey by the National Confectioners Associations shows the majority of kids (54 percent) prefer to eat candy canes by sucking on them. Twenty-four percent bite or crunch on the canes, while 19 percent just lick them. SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Not all bosses are Scrooges when it comes to holiday shopping. A new survey by Yahoo! Shopping shows more than one-quarter of workers are shopping for gifts online while at work. And of those shoppers, 54 percent say their bosses know about their at-work purchases and have no problem with it.
