Sean Astin and Dominic Monaghan: 'We Predicted Orlando Bloom's Success'

San Diego, CA (WFN) -- It was no surprise to "Lord of the Rings" stars Sean Astin and Dominic Monaghan that Orlando Bloom has bloomed into a huge success.

The two, who play hobbits Samwise Gamgee and Merry Brandybuck, claim they were the first to recognize his destiny for stardom.

Astin and Monaghan claim they can pinpoint their revelation: "We predicted it on day three when he fell in the water during canoe lessons."

Astin says "There was something about the way he was gurgling in the water."

The two go on to say, "He's six-foot tall, tan, doesn't have any hair on his body...He's a movie star...he's Errol Flynn!"
