Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Actress Ilene Graff was never nominated for an Emmy Award for playing the mom on the 1980s sitcom "Mr. Belvedere," but she may soon have a Grammy award for an album of Broadways songs she's turned into lullabies. Graff is also a singer who recently released the album "Baby's Broadway Lullabies," one of the contenders for Best Musical Album For Children at this year's Grammy Awards. Included in the mix are her mellowed-out renditions of the "Annie" anthem "Tomorrow," "Music of the Night" from "Phantom of the Opera" and the "Lullaby of Broadway." Graff's husband did all the arrangements for the album, which was inspired by the songs she used to sing to their now-college-aged daughter when she was just a babe. Although she has plenty of other songs she'd like to convert into lullabies on future albums, there's one song she'll probably never sing: Leon Redbone's Dixieland theme song to "Mr. Belvedere." Pondering the lyrics to the bouncy ode to being a butler, she says, ""Streaks on the china...?" I don't know. It's hard to really sing that with a lot of emotion.
