The Lights Are On For 72 Percent Of Americans This Christmas

Bentonville, AR (WFN) -- Christmas looks bright this year -- three out of four homes will be putting up lights.

According to a survey by Wal-Mart, 72 percent of Americans plan on decorating their home for the holidays.

Most folks plan to be subtle -- 57 percent will decorate for the holidays with a single strand of lights and a wreath on the door.

However, a few families will be more extravagant.

Four percent plan to turn their yard into a display worthy of Rockefeller Center; 6 percent are working on a "Santa's Workshop" theme; and another 6 percent will feature Frosty the Snowman and candy canes on their lawns.
