Ann Arbor, MI (WFN) -- A Michigan woman who calls herself "The Nutrition Magician" thinks she's found a remedy to the problem of Thanksgiving Day pig-outs: Serve Thanksgiving dinner several times a year. Judy Stone, who is a psychologist as well as a nutritionist, says many people overeat on Thanksgiving because they are eating special holiday dishes they never prepare at other times of the year. This leads to a "deprivation mentality" which causes folks to gobble as much as possible because they feel they won't have that green bean casserole or sweet potato pie again until next year. But Stone says you can rid yourself of this tendency by collecting your family's special Thanksgiving recipes this year and making a point of preparing them every so often.
