|
Milwaukee, WI (WFN) -- Tomorrow (Nov. 22) marks the 40th anniversary of the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. Although Lee Harvey Oswald was fingered as the assassin, conspiracy theorists around the globe have their own ideas about what really happened, according to a Marquette University political science professor who has uncovered some of the more outlandish theories about Kennedy's death. John McAdams says some theorists swear by the "The Secret Service Goofed" theory, which claims the President was accidentally shot by a careless Secret Service agent. -- "The Umbrella Man" theory suggests that JFK was shot by a mysterious man who used a James Bond-like dart gun disguised as an umbrella. -- Finally, some theorists are certain Kennedy was shot by the fraternal order of Freemasons, who did it in order to reenact an ancient ritual celebrating King Hiram Abif.
