Hollywood, CA (WFN) -- Giving someone like actor Tommy Lee Jones a compliment can be hard, especially when the words get in the way. Case in point: Director Ron Howard, who worked with Jones on the new movie "The Missing." Howard had this to say about Jones' performance: "This role is unlike anything else Tommy Lee has ever done. It's a performance of incredible bravery, creativity and imagination." That's not the only thing that crew had to say about Jones. A professor who specializes in Native American languages jokingly gave the Chiricahua Apache nickname "sh*t out of luck" to Jones' character. Jones plays the role of loner who abandons his family and has spent years living with the Apache. When Howard heard about the nickname for Jones it stuck. "The Missing" opens in the U.S. this Wednesday (Nov. 19).
