	2003-11-18 - Weird News Wireless Flash News I Want My Christopher Lee!!!

Philadelphia, PA (WFN) -- A "Lord Of The Rings" fan in Philadelphia is mad as hell at the film's producers and has a message: "I want my Christopher Lee!!" Matt Shuster says he's a huge fan of the series but is angry that director Peter Jackson is cutting a scene from the theatrical version of "Return Of The King" featuring Lee as the evil wizard, "Saruman." Jackson claims that the scenes were necessary to move the story along and that the final scenes resolving what happens to Lee's character will appear in an extended DVD some time next year. However, Shuster says that's like cutting out the balcony scene from "Romeo And Juliet" and doesn't want to wait six months to see the climactic scene. Shuster is hoping to change things with a petition demanding that Lee's scenes be reinstated into the theatrical version. So far, more than 20,000 hobbit heads have signed their support at petitiononline.com but Shuster admits he's skeptical it will have any effect "other than making Christopher Lee feel good."
