San Diego, CA (WFN) -- A San Diego-based mom is helping toddlers unleash their inner Johnny Rotten with a new line of punk rock clothes for the rug rat set. Stacy Pairish's "Snot Nose Brats" line includes tiny anarchy t-shirts, pint-sized zipper-covered plaid pants and little dresses decorated with red flames. Pairish was inspired to create the edgy clothing after a day at the playground when she realized her son Seth was dressed like every other boy toddling around. She says, "I wondered, 'Why am I dressing him blah if I don't like to dress that?' So I decided to design some clothes based on the things me and my husband wear." The clothes are miniature versions of the duds real punks wear and Pairish says they're meant to make your kid stand out. Some parents may frown on the offbeat designs but the designer says what she's doing is no different from preppy parents who put their kids in polo shirts.
