Los Angeles, CA -- Tom Cruise has been cruising along as a box office champ for 20 years and now is revealing the supernatural secret for his success.

Cruise tells "Boxoffice" magazine that when it comes to picking films, he has supernatural powers of divination.

In his words, "I have a Spidey Sense! I just feel it. I can feel it and I just think, 'Oh, this is interesting, and man, I'm excited about this.' It just takes off from there."

Cruise says he gets good feelings about his upcoming movie, "The Last Samurai," and credits it, in part, to a ceremony conducted on the New Zealand set by some Maori tribesmen designed to bless the production.

"The Last Samurai" opens Dec. 5.
