Asheville, NC (WFN) -- It's nearing the time of year when ghosts and ghouls are especially active, but how are you supposed to know if those bumps you hear in the night are the spirits of the departed or just normal sounds of a house settling?

Professional ghost tracker Joshua P. Warren says there are several surefire signs that you're living in a truly haunted house:

No. 1: You can see 3-D light forms that resemble humans.

No. 2: Objects move around the house on their own.

No. 3: Your hair stands on end.

No. 4: You get cold chills.

And finally, No. 5: you hear noises for which there is no logical explanation.

If ghosts are a problem, a good ghost-busting method is to use a humidifier to minimize the amount of electrical charges in the environment. This will prevent the ghost from materializing.
