Rancho Bernardo, CA (WFN) -- California's recall election is wearing hard on a southern California man who is tired of being confused for a candidate.

George Steiner says everyone and their neighbor seems to be running for governor. In fact, one of his neighbors IS running.

Steiner is helping differentiate real candidates from those who aren't throwing their hat in the ring with a "Not Running For Governor" T-shirt.

Steiner says folks who see the shirt "will know you're not running and can act accordingly" and says the shirt prevents anybody from getting confused about who is and who isn't in the race.

Some have warned Steiner the $12.95 "Not Running" shirts could cost him the shirt off his back, but that doesn't seem to be the case. He's been getting orders from all over California and as far away as Chicago and Camp Hill, Michigan.
