San Francisco, CA -- Masturbation can be a touchy subject depending on where you live.

According to a new book, "The Big Book Of Masturbation" (Down There Press), Poland has the highest percentage of male masturbators. Nearly 99 percent of Polish men are touchy-feely, as are 94 percent of Canadian men.

Self-love is also popular with Australian women -- 87 percent engage in the practice.

But some cultures won't touch the topic with a ten-foot-pole. Only 8 percent of Greeks admit to masturbating.

Other countries with touchy masturbation beliefs include....

-- Bahrain, which has such strict rules regarding female self-love that women are told to clench their hands in a fist when washing their privates.

-- Finally, boys in India are taught to masturbate in a group but must give it up upon marriage.
