Willsboro, NY -- U.S. presidential candidate Howard Dean already has a campaign song: "Ice, Ice, Baby."

Well, not really, but that's the tune Ben & Jerry's six Vermont stores were singing recently when they dished up a special sundae in honor of their ex-governor's presidential campaign announcement.

The so-called "Maple-Powered Howard" sundae was made with vanilla ice cream, maple syrup, walnuts and maple-flavored whipped cream.

Dean fans would be hard-pressed to get their tongues on one of the sundaes now, though. A scooper at the store in Shelburne, Vermont, says it was a one time thing and they don't regularly carry the ingredients needed to dish up a "Maple-Powered Howard."

The Dean ice cream tribute isn't the only unusual dish that's been scooped up this summer. According to the "Ice Cream Reporter" industry newsletter, Dean's Ice Cream has introduced a "calcium-enriched" vanilla flavor, while Doddington Dairies in England is releasing one flavored like Newcastle Brown Ale.
