London, England (WFN) -- Johnny Depp's success in "Pirates Of The Caribbean" now has bookies in England touting him as the top choice for Tim Burton's reported remake of "Willy Wonka." Other actors also getting bets include Christopher Walken and Michael Keaton. UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif -- The future of "The Jerry Springer Show" will be up in the air until Jerry decides whether he will run for U.S. Senate. In a statement yesterday, a spokesman for Universal Domestic Television said, "We understand that he will make an announcement soon when he returns from vacation." LOS ANGELES -- Kelly Clarkson will appear as squeaky-clean 1960's singer Brenda Lee in a guest spot on the NBC drama "American Dreams" next season. The "American Bandstand-"esque show within the show will also feature Alicia Keys as Fontella Bass, Monica lip-synching as Mary Wells and Hilary and Haylie Duff as the Shangri-Las, reports E! Online. QUEENS, N.Y. -- The campaign to get a street in Hollis, Queens, named after Jam Master Jay has hit a bump in the road. The local community board says it won't be able to review petitions collected by The Hip Hop Summit Youth Council until September, because they were turned in too late. A spokesman for the campaign tells "Newsday" he fears the delay will mean the tribute won't take place until after the October 30th anniversary of Jam Master Jay's death.
