Disciplinarian Lays The Smack Down On Kids

Boca Raton (WFN) -- Move over Babe Ruth, there's a new Sultan of Swat in town.

Inventor Steven Robyor is the creator of the B-Stik, a discipline device that allows parents to hit their kids without leaving a trace of evidence on their tender bodies.

The device is a pliant baton that stings when swatted on the skin, but it doesn't result in bruises, welts or trauma.

Robyor, who once worked in massage therapy, put his expertise to use after seeing a growing discipline problem with kids.

He says a hand has too many hard bones that could hurt a child when you smack them. Similarly, paddles and belts can do serious damage.

He says he wanted to let people know there's something more than a belt to discipline their kids.

In Robyor words: "Just the act of discipline can be enough. You don't need to beat their butts until they can't sit down."
