New York, NY (WFN) -- "Pirates Of The Caribbean" is creating a waves of opportunity for all sorts of pirate pop culture.

For instance, a New York-based pirate singing group called The Mercantillers has been around for three years but has been flooded with offers in recent weeks.

Merchantillers leader Barnacle Joe says there are some good reasons why pirate pop is striking a chord with many folks.
