|
Hollywood, CA (WFN) -- In Hollywood, everyone is trying to break into the movies, including the police -- as the producer of the upcoming movie "Hollywood Homicide" learned. The comedy revolves around two LAPD policemen played by Josh Hartnett and Harrison Ford, who don't understand each other. In Hartnett's case, his character is more interested in launching his acting career than fighting crime. For producer Lou Pitt, the movie is a case of art imitating life. He says his home was once burglarized, and when the police officer came to investigate, he was more interested in pitching scripts than solving the crime. In Pitt's words: "When the police investigator learned I was in the movie business, he wanted to know if I was an agent. I told him I was. He excused himself, went to his car and pulled a script out of the trunk of his car and asked me to read it."
