San Diego, CA -- Book signings are usually mellow affairs but one San Diego author is planning to spice his up with some naked women.

This Saturday (Jun. 7), Kip Ives is holding a buck naked book signing at a San Diego strip club to celebrate his new book, "Particulars Of The Promiscuous" (Publish America), a collection of sexual factoids.

Ives isn't going to strip down himself but he's going to have dancers dressed as the "greatest sluts in history."

Some of those sluts include Mae West, Catherine The Great, Marilyn Chambers and Madonna.

It sounds, bad but Ives insists he has great respect for sluts and hopes his book changes the meaning of the word to simply, "anyone who's curious about sex."

However, the book signing party may get more attention than the actual book. An adult cable channel is filming the encounter for posterity.
