Rosie Talking Through Her Art

Provincetown, MA (WFN) -- Not much has been heard out of Rosie O'Donnell lately, but that's because she prefers to let her art do the talking.

That's according to the folks that run an art gallery in Provincetown, Massachusetts, which will be holding a viewing of her art on June 27.

O'Donnell began painting the day after Sept. 11, 2001 and many of Rosie's 25 abstract works are collages on wood or canvas, with little or no subject depicted.

A spokeswoman for the Mumford Gallery says O'Donnell's artwork shows great talent, but the former talk show host hasn't revealed the deeper meaning -- if there is any -- behind her works.

The spokeswoman says, "She doesn't want to talk about them. She's tired of talking. She's using her paintings instead of talking."
